Ever seen an Apache violin spider? How about a cresote walkingstick?
Join NMSU professor David “Bugman” Richman on an amble down
the Sierra Vista Trail to learn about the fascinating world of scorpions,
centipedes, spiders and lesser known creepy crawlies of the Chihuahuan
Desert. Whether you love bugs or hate them, you’re guaranteed to have
a new appreciation for the “little things that run the world,” as biologist
E.O. Wilson calls them. This spring has been fairly wet and the hike
promises some surprises! Limit 25 participants. 8 am. Rating: easy.
